What is 'the soft strategy'?

The soft strategy tackles the bullying as an environmental problem in the class or at the school — not as a conflict about individual children. The aim is a cooperation that stops the bullying without the family being left on its own.

With the soft strategy we do not focus on the individual child, but on the bullying as an environmental problem. It may be a problem at the school, in the class, in other year groups or in groups within the class.

The aim is to achieve a cooperation that sets in motion measures which solve the environmental problem at the school, which in turn stops the bullying of the child.

By looking at the negative behaviour as an environmental problem, it can become easier to find solutions together, and the individual family does not have to carry the burden alone.
